Over 24 Crore Indians Lift Themselves Out of Multidimensional Poverty in 9 Years: Niti Aayog Report

• Uttar Pradesh saw biggest decline of 5.94 crore escaping poverty, followed by Bihar (3.77 crore) and Madhya Pradesh (2.30 crore)
• All 12 MPI indicators showed significant improvement over 9-year period
