United Flight Diverts to NY Due to Winds, 6 Passengers Treated

United Airlines flight 85 from Tel Aviv to Newark diverted to Stewart Airport in New York due to high winds.

The Boeing 737 carrying over 300 passengers landed safely around 645 pm Friday.

Six passengers were treated at local hospitals for minor ailments and possible motion sickness.

The plane refueled at Stewart Airport before completing its trip to Newark.

The FAA is investigating the incident.
