California Sets New Record, Gets 100% Clean Energy for 25 Days

California has gotten 100% of its energy from renewable sources like wind, solar, and hydro for 25 of the past 32 days, a new record.

This is the first time California has sustained 100% renewables for such an extended period.

Mark Jacobson, a Stanford professor tracking the data, says reaching 100% renewables is now "so easy, it's almost boring."

This milestone shows it's feasible for places to replace fossil fuels with clean energy like renewables.

Jacobson predicts California will permanently get 100% of its energy from renewables by 2035, defying claims that wasn't possible.
