New Elder Scrolls Mobile Game 'Castles' Launches, Filling Gap Until Elder Scrolls 6 Release

  • A new Elder Scrolls mobile game called The Elder Scrolls Castles launched for Android. It's like Fallout Shelter but for Elder Scrolls.

  • In Castles, you manage a castle and subjects over generations like in Fallout Shelter. There are quests with classic Elder Scrolls enemies.

  • Fallout Shelter was a successful construction/management sim that launched on mobile first and later came to consoles and PC.

  • Bethesda's Todd Howard previously teased an unannounced mobile game that he loved. Castles fits that description.

  • The Elder Scrolls 6 is not expected until at least 2026, so Castles may be the only new Elder Scrolls for a while.
