Alaska Airlines Passengers File Lawsuits Seeking Damages After In-Flight Incident Caused Rush of Air

On Jan. 5, an Alaska Airlines flight lost a door plug, causing a rush of air and items to fly out of the plane. The plane landed safely.

In mid-January, 22 passengers on that flight filed a class action lawsuit against Boeing and Alaska Airlines.

On March 4, 3 additional passengers filed a separate lawsuit seeking $1 billion in punitive damages.
