Abarth Debuts Exclusive 1300 OT Model to Celebrate 75th Anniversary, But Styling Draws Criticism
- Abarth Classiche 1300 OT is a re-bodied and tuned version of the Alfa Romeo 4C sports car, made to celebrate Abarth's 75th anniversary
- The new 1300 OT model pays homage to the 1965 Fiat-Abarth OT 1300 but looks bloated with an ugly body kit and tacky styling elements
- It retains the Alfa 4C's carbon fiber body so remains extremely light, and likely uses the same 1.7L turbo 4-cylinder engine
- Only 5 examples of the 1300 OT will be produced and orders are currently being taken, with no price announced yet
- The new model revives the discontinued 4C sports car but arguably makes it look worse, though hopefully with improved handling and performance
