Adobe Updates Firefly AI with New Object Manipulation and Selection Tools

Adobe revealed an update to Firefly AI that allows manipulating images as independent elements (e.g. move a suitcase out of someone's hand).

This improves on Content-Aware Fill by better distinguishing objects and backgrounds.

The new selection tool can identify clothing and remove background interference.

Firefly is out of beta but more features are still in development like text-to-brush.

Adobe introduced a generative credit system similar to DALL-E, taking effect November 1 for paid users.
