Amazon Driver Hospitalized After Being Bitten by Venomous Rattlesnake During Florida Delivery

An Amazon driver was seriously injured after being bitten by a rattlesnake while delivering a package in Palm City, Florida.

The eastern diamondback rattlesnake was coiled near the front door and struck the driver's leg as she put the package down.

The driver became ill immediately after the bite and called 911. Dispatchers used her cellphone's GPS to locate her.

Eastern diamondback rattlesnakes are highly venomous and common in the Florida area where the incident occurred.

The driver was hospitalized in very serious condition from the snake bite, according to the Martin County Sheriff's Office.
