Amazon Rolls Out AI Inspection Stations to Scan Delivery Vans

Amazon is installing AI-powered vehicle inspection stations at hundreds of distribution centers to scan delivery vans when drivers return them.

The tech, called AVI, uses high-res cameras and machine learning to identify damage, wear, and maintenance needs.

The automated inspections provide Amazon data on its delivery fleet and contractor performance.

Amazon says the tech improves safety by catching issues early and makes inspections faster.

Other companies like car dealerships are also using AI vehicle inspections to be more transparent with customers.
