Google Launching New 'Find My Device' Network for Offline Android Tracking

Google is launching a new Find My Device network for Android to allow tracking of devices and accessories even when offline.

The network will utilize Bluetooth signals from billions of Android devices to help with tracking.

The system is set to launch in the coming days, with emails saying it will launch in 3 days (April 7).

Users will be able to find compatible Fast Pair accessories like headphones and earbuds when disconnected.

The system will be opt-in by default and utilizes Android devices' Bluetooth signals, with infrastructure still being built out.
