Grocery Stores Split on Easter Hours: Walmart, Kroger Open; Costco, Aldi, Publix Closed

Some grocers like Walmart and Kroger will be open regular hours Easter Sunday, while Costco, Aldi, and Publix will be closed.

Easter date changes yearly as it's based on the lunar calendar; lands on first Sunday after the first full moon of Spring.

Target, Sam's Club, and H-E-B also closed Easter Sunday.

Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, Wegman's, Meijer, Harris Teeter, Sprouts Farmers Market, Safeway, and Albertsons banner stores will be open.

Whole Foods to close early at 6 pm Easter Sunday.
