Baldur's Gate 3 narrator Amelia Tyler has recorded 17 different "voices" to match different player characters.

The narration reflects each character's story, with distinct tones for Shadowheart, The Dark Urge, etc.

Tyler had different sitting positions for each narration style to help get into character.

There is an immense amount of recorded but unused dialogue from when characters narrated themselves.

Switching to a single narrator was better received than having each character narrate themselves.
