Hideki Kamiya, director of Bayonetta, left his job as VP at PlatinumGames to start a YouTube channel.

On his new YouTube channel, Kamiya explains his decision to leave PlatinumGames after working there for nearly 20 years.

Kamiya says he wants to keep creating games but can't work in the industry for a year due to his PlatinumGames contract.

For now, Kamiya plans to post "completely useless" content on YouTube and enjoy watching Netflix.

Kamiya promises his YouTube channel won't offer any real gaming industry advice. He drives off in his Lamborghini to the "unemployment center."
