Mattel is releasing a new version of Pictionary that incorporates AI technology, called Pictionary Vs. AI.
In the game, players draw a clue and the AI tries to guess what it is. Players bet on whether the AI will guess correctly.
It's a physical board game that uses a smartphone app and proprietary AI algorithm. The first major analog game to add AI.
Launches October 2 for $25. Comes with whiteboards, smartphone stand, game pieces, etc.
One of the first board games to add AI, but other analog games have added digital twists before. Unclear if Mattel will bring AI to other games.
