Biden to Visit Swing District of GOP Critic Boebert, Tout Jobs Created by Climate Law

President Biden will visit Colorado district of Rep. Lauren Boebert, Republican critic of his policies, to tout clean energy jobs from his climate legislation.

Biden will highlight jobs created at wind tower manufacturer CS Wind after passage of the Inflation Reduction Act.

The trip contrasts Biden's economic agenda with Republican opposition to his climate and infrastructure bills.

Boebert tried to stop certification of 2020 election, supports former President Trump, and was not invited to Biden's event.

Biden narrowly won Boebert's county in 2020; his team sees area as having swing voters important for his re-election.
