Marathon Digital Mines Invalid Bitcoin Block Due to Transaction Ordering Error

Marathon Digital mined an invalid Bitcoin block at height 809478 according to developers, miners, researchers.
The invalid block contained a transaction ordered incorrectly with a spending output.
This transaction ordering issue caused the block to be rejected by other node operators.
The invalid block was reported by anonymous developer "0xB10C" and confirmed by Jameson Lopp.
Marathon Digital did not immediately respond to requests for comment on the invalid block.
