OpenSea Announces Royalty Support, Platform Overhaul As NFT Market Evolves
- OpenSea announced support for ERC721-C to help creators enforce royalty fees on secondary sales
- Comes after OpenSea moved away from its own royalty enforcement protocol late last year
- CEO Devin Finzer said the slimmed down OpenSea team is overhauling the platform for a big "OpenSea 2.0" relaunch
- Finzer won't yet say if OpenSea will launch a token or support Bitcoin Ordinals like rival Magic Eden
- Lower Ethereum gas fees are making NFTs more accessible, but Finzer says stitching experiences across networks still needs work
