Senator's Wife Involved in Fatal Accident, Receives New Car From Businessman, Faces Indictment

Sen. Bob Menendez’s wife Nadine Arslanian killed a 49-year-old man while driving her Mercedes in 2018.

Arslanian was not charged in the incident as she was not at fault according to the police report.

No sobriety tests were conducted and Arslanian asked to speak to a lawyer.

A month later, Arslanian texted an Egyptian businessman about her damaged car who gifted her a new Mercedes.

Arslanian faces federal indictment in a bribery scheme, along with calls for her husband to resign.
