Saudi Arabia and China Partner to Launch New Arabic AI Assistant AceGPT

Saudi Arabia and China are partnering to develop a new Arabic-based AI program called AceGPT.

The project is a collaboration between a Saudi Arabian university and two Chinese universities.

AceGPT is built on Meta's LlaMA2 program and is intended to serve as an AI assistant for Arabic speakers.

The model was launched by Chinese-American researchers at the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology.

The partnership reflects the increasing cooperation between Saudi Arabia and China as BRICS members.
