Capcom shutting down online services for 3DS and Wii U Monster Hunter games on April 8

Capcom issued a reminder that online services for Monster Hunter games on 3DS and Wii U will shut down on April 8th.

Online multiplayer, downloading DLC will no longer be possible for Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, Monster Hunter Generations, and Monster Hunter Stories on 3DS.

Online multiplayer, downloading DLC will no longer be possible for Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate on Wii U.

Players can still play multiplayer locally after the shutdown.

Nintendo ended ability to merge unused eShop funds across 3DS/WiiU in March and closed eShops last year.
