Cities Skylines 2 makes small iterative improvements like more detailed simulations, but lacks major new features compared to all the DLC from the original game.

Transport systems like roads, buses and trams are frustrating to use and citizens ignore public transit options.

Policies and progression systems feel trivial and underdeveloped. Much is still missing that should be standard city building features.

Performance was fine on medium settings but had issues on high. Updates are planned around launch.

Hard to recommend if you already own Cities Skylines with DLC, as this sequel doesn't add much that's substantially new.
