CNBC anchor's $1 Bitcoin gift from 2015 now worth over $250

In 2015, Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong gave CNBC anchor Jon Fortt $1 in Bitcoin to demonstrate how Coinbase worked. That $1 in Bitcoin is now worth over $250.
Fortt tweeted a screenshot showing the $1 in Bitcoin appreciation, sparking interest and questions from Twitter users.
Fortt met with Armstrong in 2015 when Bitcoin was early-stage and not taken very seriously. Armstrong was convinced Bitcoin would go up in value.
If Fortt had invested $100 in Bitcoin after meeting Armstrong, it could be worth over $24,000 today based on current prices.
Coinbase shares are up 250% in the last year, benefiting from growing crypto interest and potential Bitcoin ETF custody roles. Fortt's small Bitcoin holdings could hit $3,400 if Bitcoin reaches $100k.
