• Bipartisan negotiators announced a deal to avert a partial government shutdown this week
• The deal funds 6 federal agencies including Agriculture, Commerce, Energy, Interior, Justice, Transportation & Veterans Affairs
• Congress will vote on a short-term funding bill to buy more time to finalize the details and pass the full funding package
• The remaining 6 appropriations bills - Defense, Financial Services, Homeland Security, Labor-HHS, Legislative Branch, and State/Foreign Ops - will be finalized and voted on before March 22
