Consumer Reports tested Lunchables kits and found concerning levels of sodium, lead, cadmium, and phthalates
They are urging the USDA to remove Lunchables from the National School Lunch Program due to the unhealthy components
Two varieties of Lunchables are currently served in schools - Turkey and Cheddar Cracker Stackers and Extra Cheesy Pizza
The school versions were found to have higher sodium levels than the store-bought kits
A Consumer Reports petition to remove Lunchables from schools has over 14,000 signatures
