Binance.US Halts Dollar Withdrawals After SEC Lawsuit

Binance's U.S. affiliate has halted direct dollar withdrawals from its platform.

This comes after the SEC sued Binance, its CEO, and Binance.US in June over allegations of deceptive practices.

The SEC had asked a court to freeze Binance.US's assets in early June.

Binance.US had already halted dollar deposits after the SEC lawsuit.

Customers can still withdraw dollars by first converting to stablecoins or other digital assets.
