Democrats Forfeit $765K in Donations from Convicted FTX Founder

Democrats surrendered $765,000 in campaign donations from convicted FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried to federal authorities.
Donations were originally given in 2022 to the DNC, Democratic Grassroots Victory Fund, and other Democratic groups and politicians.
Bankman-Fried was convicted in October 2022 of stealing $8 billion from FTX customers to finance political contributions and other spending.
Over $2.3 million in FTX-linked donations have now been forfeited to the U.S. Marshals Service by politicians and groups.
Bankman-Fried donated over $40 million to political causes in 2022 and faces over 100 years in prison for FTX fraud.
