• House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan threatening to subpoena Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas over lack of transparency regarding migrant Jose Ibarra, accused of killing Laken Riley.
• Ibarra was initially arrested for illegally crossing border in September 2022, then released on parole by federal authorities after less than 24 hours in custody.
• After release, Ibarra lived in NY with woman he crossed with, Layling Franco, before heading to Georgia where he met up with brothers Diego and Argenis.
• Diego has gang tattoos associated with Tren de Aragua; faces up to 10 years for handing authorities false green card.
• Jim Jordan and House Judiciary Committee sent letter to Mayorkas demanding Ibarra immigration documents by March 28 or will use compulsory process.
