Writers at Reviewed believe AI was used to write product reviews last week that were published on their site. Gannett denies this.

About 40 Reviewed staff think AI wrote the articles. Some articles were run through AI detection programs, which found a 0% human score.

Gannett says the articles were written by 3rd party freelancers hired by a marketing agency, not AI. The articles didn't have proper disclaimers.

Reviewed staff want the articles retracted and an apology. The 3rd party was AdVon Commerce.
