Dollar Tree Closing 15% of Family Dollar Stores Amid Struggles

Dollar Tree is closing 600 Family Dollar stores in 2024, plus 370 more Family Dollar stores and 30 Dollar Tree stores in the next few years.

Dollar Tree has not released a full list of closing locations yet. A few known closing locations are listed, including in Alabama, Illinois, Kansas, Missouri, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Virginia, and West Virginia.

Closing stores are offering significant discounts on merchandise, with some at 50-90% off as they liquidate inventory before shuttering.
