Amihere Sparks Debate Over Youth Exodus Amid Questions Over Viability of 5,000 Cedi Salary to Stay in Ghana

Serwaa Amihere said Ghanaians aged 20-30 earning at least 5,000 cedis per month shouldn't rush to leave Ghana as things are not very rosy abroad.

There was debate on whether earning 10,000 dollars per month in Ghana or 3,000 dollars abroad is better.

Amihere added to existing concerns about Ghanaian youth exiting the country.

Many responded that it's hard for youth to earn 5,000 cedis in current economy.

Others said decision to leave Ghana is based not just on money but things like better healthcare.
