11 Indian, Indian Americans make TIME's inaugural TIME100 AI list for work in emerging tech

TIME's inaugural TIME100 AI list features 11 Indian, Indian Americans engaged in emerging technology.

The list includes 18-year-old Sneha Revanur, the youngest honoree, as well as Neal Khosla and billionaire siblings Romesh and Sunil Wadhwani.

Revanur helped organize a letter urging inclusion of more young people on AI boards, leading to a discussion with VP Harris.

Romesh and Sunil Wadhwani allocated $30 million to establish nonprofit Wadhwani AI to address development issues with AI.

Other Indians/Indian Americans on the list include Pushmeet Kohli of DeepMind, Kalika Bali of Microsoft Research India, and Arvind Narayanan of Princeton University.
