Google recently laid off hundreds of recruiters, adding to previous layoffs of 12,000 employees in January.
In her post, the employee said the layoff forced self-reflection and growth outside of work. She aims to find the good in the unwanted situation.
Before the recent recruiting layoffs, Google had also cut jobs in its Waze mapping division as it integrated Waze into Google Maps.
