Apple Vision Pro Returns Mount Over Usability Issues
• Some users are returning the new Apple Vision Pro headset because they can't figure out how to use some of its features • Around 20-30% of returns are from users unable to set up the device properly • Issues include needing to press a button to exit spatial computing mode, looking up to access control center, and needing to reset passwords in-store • Demand is slowing slightly, but Apple has still sold around 200,000 units and expects to beat internal sales forecasts • Apple plans to release a cheaper version of the headset in 2027 after fixing some of these usability problems
