Pakistan's exports to EU countries have declined by 6.89% in the first 8 months of 2023-24 fiscal year compared to same period last year, despite having GSP+ status
Exports fell across Western, Southern, and Northern Europe, with Western Europe seeing the biggest drop of 13.2%
However, exports to Eastern Europe grew by 8.2% in the same period
UK remains the top export destination despite Brexit, with exports growing 1.65%
Big export markets like Germany, Netherlands, France, and Belgium saw double-digit declines
