California prosecutor says he declined to charge Hunter Biden with tax crimes in 2022

U.S. attorney for central California, Martin Estrada, told investigators he declined to bring tax charges against Hunter Biden in 2022.

Estrada said his decision did not hinder the probe into Biden, as Delaware prosecutors had authority to file charges in California.

Estrada revealed 2 Delaware prosecutors were authorized to work in California before Weiss was appointed special counsel.

Estrada said he believed Weiss could charge Biden in California without his permission due to the authorizations.

Estrada said his office doesn't charge people with tax crimes if they belatedly pay taxes owed before an investigation begins.
