Fitbit Brings Back Step Streaks, Improves App After User Complaints

Fitbit is bringing back step streaks to its mobile app after user complaints when the feature was removed.

Google, which owns Fitbit, says it's listening to user feedback and improving the redesigned Fitbit app experience.

Other changes include more readable Today tabs, customizable focus metrics, and device battery indicators.

Users' existing step counts will be retained and counted towards new step streaks.

This comes after a rocky transition period integrating Fitbit into Google's ecosystem, including recent service outages.
