Nigeria Sees Slight Easing of Food Inflation But Prices Remain High

Food inflation dropped by 0.54% in October compared to September according to the National Bureau of Statistics.

The decrease was caused by lower prices for fruits, oils, coffee, bread and cereals.

However, food inflation was still high at 31.52% year-on-year in October.
