-
Ford is recalling over 238,000 Explorers from 2020-2022 due to a rollaway risk if the parking brake isn’t applied.
-
The recall is to fix a disconnected driveshaft that could cause the vehicle to roll away and crash.
-
Ford will replace the rear axle bolt and subframe bushing for free and inspect the rear axle cover.
-
The recall comes after 2 complaints of faulty rear axle bolts, which were included in a previous recall.
-
In July, Ford recalled over 870,000 F-150 trucks for unexpected electronic parking brake engagement while driving.
