Samsung Launching Limited Edition Flip Phone to Celebrate 20 Years Since Iconic 'Benz Phone'

Samsung is launching a Galaxy Z Flip 5 Retro Edition in November to celebrate the 20th anniversary of its 2003 "Benz Phone" flip phone.

The Benz Phone (SGH-E700) was known for its stylish design and was Samsung's first phone with over 10 million sales.

The Retro Edition will have the same blue and silver color scheme as the original Benz Phone.

It will be sold in limited quantities in South Korea through pop-up stores, online, and select Samsung retail stores.

Samsung has been pushing foldable phones to increase profits and regain global smartphone market leadership.
