Gas Prices Continue to Fall, Expected to Drop 50 Cents by October

Gas prices have fallen 7 cents per gallon over the past week, a nearly 2% decline according to AAA data.

Analysts expect prices to fall as much as 50 cents per gallon by the end of October.

The national average price currently stands at $3.72 per gallon, the lowest since July 2021.

Ten states currently have average gas prices at or below $3.35 per gallon.

California has the highest average gas prices at $5.88 per gallon but prices there are also falling.
