The parody "Taliban Public Relations Department, Commentary" account has amassed over 60k followers with satirical tweets.

Santos seemed to believe the account was real, accusing it of assuming gay people cannot have children.

The parody account confused Santos by asking how he could get pregnant and give birth.

Several members of Congress have previously fallen for fake or parody accounts on social media.
