House Members Seek to Censure Reps. Greene and Tlaib Over Inflammatory Rhetoric

Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene moved to force a vote to censure Rep. Rashida Tlaib over criticism of Israel.

Greene's resolution claims Tlaib engaged in anti-Semitic activity and sympathized with terrorist groups.

Tlaib called the resolution unhinged, deeply Islamophobic, and an attempt to silence her.

Rep. Becca Balint introduced a counter resolution to censure Greene for hate speech and anti-Semitic rhetoric.

The resolutions against Tlaib and Greene must be considered on the House floor within two days.
