Google Chat Gets Smart Replies for Groups and Spaces to Suggest Responses

Google Chat now has smart replies for group messages and spaces, using machine learning to suggest tailored responses.

Smart replies offer up to 3 suggestions that can be sent as-is or tweaked to fit the conversation context.

The feature rolls out automatically, no user action needed, and can be reactivated in settings if previously disabled.

Smart replies in Chat build on similar features already present in other Google services like Android, Messages, and Gmail.

Currently only on web, smart replies for groups and spaces may come to Android Chat app soon.
