- Google fixed a high-severity zero-day in Chrome's V8 JavaScript engine exploited at Pwn2Own hacking contest
- The flaw could allow remote code execution and data access via heap corruption
- It was demoed by researchers who earned $42,500 by exploiting Chrome and Edge
- Google has rolled out fixes in Chrome stable version 123.0.6312.105 and up
- This is the 4th Chrome zero-day patched by Google this year after 3 others exploited at Pwn2Own
