Google Maps Adds Emoji Support to Help Identify Saved Places

Google Maps now allows users to add emoji to their saved places to help differentiate between them.
Go to the Saved tab, select or create a list, and tap "Choose icon" to pick an emoji and add a description.
The emoji will now display next to the place names in your lists, making them easy to identify at a glance.
Emoji are more effective than pins or icons for quickly conveying information about your saved spots.
This update builds on Google's previous testing of different pins and icons for saved places.
