Google Search Rolls Out Bitcoin and Ethereum Wallet Balance Checks
- Google Search now shows Bitcoin and Ethereum wallet balances when searching for blockchain addresses
- Supports P2PKH, P2SH, and Bech32 Bitcoin address formats. Extended public keys not supported.
- Shows balance as of last transaction
- Also shows balances for Ethereum networks like Arbitrum, Avalanche, Fantom, Optimism, Polygon
- Part of broader expansion of crypto and financial tools in Google Search, like BTC price lookups
