New 'Lookup' Button in Pixel Phone App to Search Unknown Numbers After Call

The Pixel Phone app is getting a new "Lookup" button to search unknown numbers on the web.

The Lookup button shows up when expanding recent call cards and allows searching the number in Google Search.

It relies on publicly available info surrounding phone numbers, likely more useful for business numbers.

The feature comes after the call, not during it.

The Lookup button is in early development and could take awhile to roll out to Pixel devices.
