Google Podcasts is shutting down in early 2024. Users will be migrated to YouTube Music.
YouTube Music began offering podcasts to U.S. users earlier this year. It will expand globally by end of 2022.
Google Podcasts has only 4% market share. YouTube has 23% share among podcast listeners.
YouTube Music will allow switching between audio and video versions of podcasts.
