Google Takes On Apple and Tile with New 'Finder Network' for Tracking Lost Items

Google is developing a new stuff-tracking solution called Finder Network to compete with Apple and Tile.
The updated Find My Device app icon features abstract fan shapes representing scanning and pinpointing lost objects.
The new app will be able to track more devices including Bluetooth trackers.
Potential new features include temporarily sharing locations, editing accessory contact info, assigning categories, adjusting ring volume, etc.
Version 3.0 of the Find My Device app with the new icon is available on Google Play but not yet widely rolled out.
