Grayscale Files New Bitcoin ETF Application After Lawsuit Win Against SEC

Grayscale Investments filed a new application with the SEC for a spot Bitcoin ETF after winning a lawsuit against the regulator.

The filing aims to convert Grayscale's Bitcoin Trust into an ETF listed on NYSE Arca under the ticker GBTC.

This follows the SEC being ordered to review and explain its rejection of Grayscale's earlier ETF application.

Grayscale says it is ready to operate the Bitcoin Trust as an ETF once regulatory approvals are secured.

The move comes as other firms like BlackRock also file updated Bitcoin ETF prospectuses following talks with the SEC.
